Ink absorber almost full Solved

Question

Hello,

For some time now, a message has been appearing on my computer screen: "Your ink absorber is almost full..." I have a CANON PIXMA IP2600 printer.
I believe that changing the absorber can be done by oneself, but I don't know how to do it or where it is located. Nor where to find a new one.
Could you please answer my questions?

check out the proposed solutions for your printer:

Canon IP1100, IP1200, iP1300, iP1600, iP1700, iP1800, iP2200, iP2500, iP2600:

Solution 1: Download Service tool for Canon IP1100/1800/2500
Solution 2: Download Itool version 1.1.5
Solution 3: Unplug the printer. Hold down the "power" button and then plug in the power cable. Press the "Resume" button 2 or 3 times and then release the "power" button. The printer is reset.

I read your tips, but it turns out that my printer is not the same as the one mentioned as a reference. It is a CANON PIXMA IP2600. My question is: is the one mentioned in the tutorial designed exactly the same way, so that I can follow the steps without any surprises?

Your solutions did not work. Moreover, when I tried to download Itool version 1.1.5, my firewall warned me of an intrusion attempt on my computer. So, be careful with this program!

As a result, I bought another printer, as having it repaired by a professional would have cost me more than what I paid for it initially! What a shame!
