Hello,

Everything is fine!

Your TV has a digital optical output:

And your amplifier has a similar input, so all you need to do is get a good optical cable, for example:

But there may be a setting to adjust in the TV's audio menu to select "External speakers" or PCM

Hello,

The television has two types of audio outputs:
- Stereo analog on the 3.5mm jack.
- Digital on the optical port.

So there are two possibilities with an optical cable between the optical output of the television and the optical input of the home cinema, or with a Jack/RCA connection between the headphone output of the television and the RCA input of the home cinema.

The optical cable solution, as recommended by Andy31200, offers better sound quality.

But who provides the image to the television, a decoder, a TV box?
If there are external devices, they can be connected (2 max) to the home cinema via HDMI IN 1 or 2 and the television via HDMI OUT.

The sound will be transmitted through the HDMI cables to the home cinema.

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
Especially when it's not there...

Hello and thank you for your answers, the TV is connected to the box via wifi, which cable will provide better quality, RCA or optical?

Did you not answer the question that provides the image?

I don't understand the question, I'm on wifi with my box, I have Molotov, Amazon Prime as applications. I don't have anything plugged into the TV.

OK so as Andy31200 said in message #1, an optical cable will provide the best sound quality..

I do have another topic, but I don't know where to go; it's about my home studio for sound production.
