Chest in The Sims 2 on DS

Hello, I need help with The Sims 2 on DS. Could you tell me how to find the treasure chest in the desert and where the mayor is? Because when we call him, he says he's at the town hall.

    The chest is in the green desert; the saucer uses the metal detector, and for those who don't know what to do with it, just place it in your hotel room. But I tell you, you can adjust it according to your goals. My goal is to make money, and thanks to the hotel, I get a room for those who have chosen ambition for money; put the chest in the hotel room next to the cash register.

      The mechanics points are:
      -Monday: 8 AM to 4 PM = government lab
      -Tuesday: 12 AM to 8 AM = secret warehouse
      4 PM to 12 AM = safe
      -Wednesday: 4 PM to 12 AM = safe
      -Thursday: 8 AM to 4 PM: boiler room
      4 PM to 12 AM: to the right of the stairs leading to the basement
      -Friday: 12 AM to 8 AM: boiler room
      - Saturday: 12 AM to 8 AM: center of the atrium

      If you neither have the time nor the desire to wait for the skill points to appear, wait for one to show up, and spray it with the water gun. It should appear in the box at the top right. Then pick it up, leave the room, and come back in. It should reappear. Repeat the process until you have had enough.

    The chest is located near the third palm tree to the left of the oasis by the fern.

    Salut à tous, j'ai un problème avec mon objectif, il me demande de trouver un coffre dans le désert mais je dois le trouver avec mon détecteur de métaux. Où est-il sur le sol et où ça ??

    I didn't find it where the alien spaceship is, but I found it near the weird lake... a bit more towards the satellite... between the two. Look around here, I think you could find it :)

      Yes, but which chest are you talking about? Horus Bandlet's or Franky's Fusilli (I don't know his name, but he's the one who first housed the luxury suite!) Because I have an alien (I think it's an alien) telling me to find the chest in the desert.
