Hello everyone,

Just to inform you that if you receive a message like this:

sender 07XXXXXXXX
"Relay line hello your package ref M625423 is available since 22/04/13 For information call 06XXXXXXX"

Do not reply and report it as spam via 33700 or through certain applications offered by operators, such as SFR antispam.

That's it, spread the word around you.

Useful info.... (and quite crucial... when you see the haste with which people give in to any solicitation.... and only think about it... afterwards!)

Nevertheless, logic would suggest that someone receiving this text message is in one of two cases:

1) They are not expecting any delivery, having ordered nothing.... in short: a message to "ignore" (report and/or delete)

2) Coincidentally, they are expecting a delivery.... In this case, it is preferable to track the order on their customer account on the relevant website (as well as the shipping if a tracking code for the package is provided)... In short, once again... be wary of the text even if it may seem legitimate...

When I place an order online, I check my customer account, and I might allow the website to inform me by email... (more easily verifiable than an SMS...)...

I also received a scam text message informing me that my package is waiting for me and that I need to call for more information.
What raised my suspicion is simply that I never order online -> so it's not possible.

The phone number is: XXX
Number for information: 0XXX

Be careful, don't fall for it even out of curiosity!!

Received the same one 10 minutes ago, I am indeed expecting a package but I immediately went online to check. And I stumbled upon this topic, so thank you for the heads-up =)

  I just received it "but I’ve become wary" I wasn't expecting any package, but! I got married at the end of June and for a brief moment, I wondered if someone could have sent a package "as now you can have it delivered to someone other than yourself, a bit like Interflora
  anyway: I didn't think it was worth calling the numbers, the one that calls.. XXX and the one for the e-package XXX

    same here, I was fooled like an idiot!!!
    I must hold the record... 12 minutes before I understood and hung up.
    I was indeed expecting a package
    so someone knew that and intercepted my number which I had used in response to an ad on "le bon coin".
    the package was sent via colissimo without my number being indicated.
    So the leak or hacking definitely came from the ad site.

  I received a message on my mobile from XXX 10 minutes ago, telling me that my package M391424 has been waiting for me since July 23 at E-Relais. I was supposed to call XXX.
  So I called on my landline and there I was asked to call 0899 etc... because of a computer problem. I felt it was a scam!!!!!
  I called XXX, "You cannot leave messages on this answering machine, the mailbox is full."
  I searched the internet with all these numbers, NONE are known.
  I reported it to 33700, and we should all do the same.

Hello,
I went through the whole process because I am indeed waiting for a package! The text is:
E-Relais Hello, your e-colis ref: L170715 has been available since 11/07/13. Information at XXX Sender +XXX
So I call, and they report that there is an internet outage on the site and that I need to call order tracking at XXX which I do. The voicemail gives a customer service number to call +XXX.
I called for 4 hours on Saturday morning, 4 hours on Monday morning... dialing the number in sequence but it was always a voicemail with a busy line. Finally, at 2 PM, I got through, I asked which parcel depot I was put on hold... and I hung up after 18 minutes, yes, I know, I am extremely patient. Cost 6 euros.

I am indeed waiting for a package but under my boyfriend's number and via amaz** so I smelled a scam.

Hello everyone,

Well now, this is yet another kind of scam...

I posted a few ads on Leboncoin.fr and since then, I've been receiving text messages saying:

"I'm interested in your sweater, is it still available? Please confirm by email: patati patata"

The texts are sent from numbers starting with 06... and what's more, they're well-targeted because they actually concern the item you've listed on Leboncoin.

I've received several and always with a different email address to contact.
The messages are also different, to vary things up, either about the price or availability...

Thanks to CCM I obviously didn't respond, we're smarter now... :D

Has anyone received this kind of message?

My husband received texts from a number starting with 07 saying that he is cheating on me and that the guy would call me to warn me, and he also said that he would stop sending texts to his wife
which is false, my husband has never done that
in fact, there are people who connect to your line and see who you call the most and then they create trouble for you with your wife or husband
Do not respond to these texts.

everyone talks to us about scams, but no one talks about the risk we run.
I also called right away the number *** that I received, someone answered and hung up...
however, I had an order in progress at a relay point, so I believed it very naively!

what do these people gain from this kind of scam?

can someone tell us the risk please?

  If you call this type of number, you will be charged a fee on your plan as if you had called a premium 0800 number. The person who sends this type of SMS is therefore scamming a few euros from each person who calls their number back.

Thanks for the info, with all these messages, they must be enjoying some nice vacations.
