Good evening,
I had the same problem as you and I followed the next steps, and by magic it worked... try it out, bye
Error "cleaning impossible" - Brother printers
Procedure for models DCP-110C / 115C / 116C / 117C / 120C / 310CN / 315CN / 340CW:
Turn on the machine.
Press ‘Menu’, ‘Mono Start’, ‘Menu’, ‘Mono Start’ in less than 5 seconds.
Then the display shows: “│MAINTENANCE 10│”.
Using the up (▲) or down (▼) keys, display “80” and then confirm with “Menu/Confirm”.
Press the ‘Mono Start’ key several times until the message “PURGE: 06400” appears. (In general, the value exceeds 6400)
To reset the counter to “00000”, you need to enter the value “2783”: successively display the digits 2, 7, 8, and 3 using the (▲) or (▼) keys and confirm each time with the ‘Confirm’ key.
To exit, press the ‘Stop/Exit’ key.
Unplug the power cable from the machine for 5 seconds and then plug it back in.
