Suspect DVDs received in my mailbox
Hello,
One day, when I opened my mailbox to see if I had any mail, I found a box of DVDs from the Bodin's. It was wrapped in plastic but without any cardboard around it. About 3 weeks to a month later, two more DVDs from the Bodin's arrived together again in my mailbox. I'm wondering what this is and I'm starting to worry.
Thank you in advance for your responses if you know what this could be.

Hello,
It's difficult to know here...
Did you subscribe to a service or place an order on a site or something else?
Have you tried asking your mailman about the sender?
It was wrapped in plastic but without a box around it Is the sender's address present on the package or not?
Is there postage on this package?
Try checking your account statements as well.
Chuck Norris managed to find the 404 page.
One day Chuck Norris ran so fast he almost ran into himself.
Hello, you're not the only one receiving CDs and DVDs, believe me. I just received some audio from people who are receiving CDs without any order, a delivery with no sender's name.
Preferably, do not open.
So for the moment you're doing nothing, you're storing these DVDs in a closet and you're waiting to see if something happens.
Or not...

Hello,
Simply ask the mailman, maybe he made a mistake with the address???
There's no point in thinking, you must think before.

It is obvious, of course, that this employee is going to admit to having committed a professional fault two times in a row... And otherwise, in the absence of "caught in the act," he is still going to have a hard time remembering all his deliveries from the past two months.
Especially after re-reading carefully the information provided by azerty123, which it does not state anywhere that these items were sent to him by the Post Office "There is no address or anything ...", which apparently rules out the possibility of a distracted or incompetent postman. "I think it’s someone who put it directly in my mailbox "
QED
In fact, it may be a variant of "the USB stick scam"..

Especially since a CD or DVD costs less than a USB stick!
There is no address or anything, so I think it's someone who directly put it in my mailbox, but why? And every time it's the same movies. Nothing regarding my bank account.
Thank you very much for your response.
Hello,
In that case, you should keep an eye on the comings and goings near your mailbox. Or consider installing video surveillance as well...
Why do it?
There is no harm, except for the wear on the mailbox flap....
In order to know who drops them off and to continue living without this daily worry...!
The purpose of this request here is to know and find out where the DVDs in question come from.
" To know who is dropping them... " : and what difference will it make?
" and I'm starting to worry " : about what?
DVDs don't bite, they don't explode, they don't emit any toxic gas....
Once again, there is no harm here, no threat, no crime in legal terms.
No text prohibits anyone from dropping objects in a mailbox of their choice, except for advertisements when there is a "no ads" sticker on it...
So yes, it is quite a curious and strange phenomenon, but there is hardly any way to act against it.
In any case, if, as one must assume, it is the work of someone who wants to play a prank and make themselves interesting, they will reveal themselves sooner or later to see the face of their target.
This act is actually a non-event as long as one can choose not to give it importance.
But if one is really worried, they should quickly file a complaint for... depositing objects.
