Hello,
I just changed my PC at the office, and everything is going fairly well, let's say. However, one thing is strange: the IT guy set Google as the default browser, okay, but when I open it, instead of having the Google icon in the taskbar, I have a kind of "white sheet"....why? How can I get the icon to display?
Thank you very much for your help
Have a nice day

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 86.0

Hello,

This may occur due to a software update, so you need to unpin it and pin it again even if the browser is open.

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. Actually, Google is not pinned to the taskbar, but it appears when I open the browser and disappears when I close it. Are you talking about the shortcut in the tile (Win10)? Should I delete this shortcut and put it back?

The thumbnail on the desk?

No, there where the thumbnails are, in the startup screen... the shortcut is there, and when I click it to open Google, it shows the icon in the taskbar, like every time you open something, and it disappears when you close it... well, this time it's not the Google icon, but a sheet...

Hi,

I'm not sure this can help in your specific case, but you have nothing to lose by trying
