I have long connected a 2nd monitor to my PC. Since last night, it lights up and in the top left shows a small white rectangle with an A inside and what looks like circular waves on the outside + a small line of white dashes...

I unplugged everything, I reconnected everything. When I went to the Windows "Display" settings, I pressed "Detect" - it doesn't detect anything.

I tried: Ctrl + Windows + Shift + B - nothing happened

What should I do?

      Hello,

      You are my savior!

I had tried lots of WIN + something, so I admit I doubted... but I tried it and IT WORKS!!

Thank you - A ton of thanks to you, I even think the image is clearer now.

I’m noting the "miracle cure" so as not to bother the Forum again.... just in case....

      Thanks again to you,

    Hello,

Please accept my apologies; I hope you will kindly accept them. In truth I had understood that we were on a “professional” forum in the sense that ignorant people in computing, like me, consult people who “know.” In this kind of forum, expectations are that one does not waste time on circonvolutions and politeness formulas.

In any case, it seems strange to me that an "ambassador" addresses me by using the informal you, when it’s clear that we do not know each other. I also consider that this is a flagrant lack of politeness. Moreover, it is a courtesy on my part not to call your text’s spelling error to your attention, which, to me, results from a flagrant lack of education.

Do you see? Politeness can take many forms depending on the people involved.

I nevertheless wish you an excellent end of day, even if your “word” ends in a rather abrupt way.
