After (accidentally) unplugging my PS4 before it was completely off, I can no longer play. I turn it on and I go straight to the message 'checking the status of the system storage' with a loading bar,
then "unable to start the PS4", it asks me to connect a controller,
then after that it says "connect a USB storage device containing a system software update file for version 5.53-01 or later"
What should I do?
I have no access to the PS4 home screen at all, and I don't want to lose my files, but without access to the settings it's impossible to back up to an external hard drive or the cloud ...
please help ...

Hello to everyone who says to reset the PS4, it's totally useless. You need to download the update from the PlayStation website onto a formatted USB stick. Then, create a PS4 folder, and inside that folder, create an Update folder. Once that's done, go into safe mode on your console with the USB stick inserted, and choose the option to restore default settings. Then, you'll proceed to update via the internet, and that's it.
I'm following up because the PS4 is asking me to connect a USB storage with the update 9.60, and when I do, it says this file cannot be used, even though I've named my files correctly on my USB drive (and formatted it in FAT32).
I'm starting to get worried.
