Hello,
I had this problem in the past and I solved it but I can't remember how! It seems to have reappeared after some updates... My PC is never completely off, it restarts as soon as I click the mouse! (WINDOWS 10)
There used to be a very simple video in the past, I found it online but I can't find it again.
Thanks in advance
Configuration: Windows 10 - PC

Thank you, I will test it during the day and I will keep you updated.
Let's say that I do press the "stop" area like in the past, but I feel like the stop isn't being confirmed and it's just going into sleep mode because when I click the mouse, there's a message on the screen in English with the term "hibernation," and I suspect that it's just waking up from sleep mode.
I would already like it to turn off when I tell it to and not pretend, lol.
But I will do what you say and I'll come back with news in the afternoon.

For the response you submitted, Jojolaguitare, the person mentioned a mobile, so I don't think it's the same thing.
I finally found the video that explained very well how to do it! I'm going to keep it carefully because I think with future updates it might come in handy.
Method 1 explained in the video below is just fine. I admit what is misleading is that in the menu, the whole path to follow, I have some "expandable" areas that did not appear on the screen right away but in the end I followed the method and the problem is solved.
Thank you.

To shut it down properly, you need to either:
- Go to the desktop, press the alt f4 key combination and in "What do you want to do?" choose shut down.
- Right-click on the Windows logo in the bottom left and click shut down.
In your case, you do not need to go through the BIOS to disable the mouse.
Just go to Control Panel \ System and Security \ System then Device Manager > Right-click on the mouse > Properties > Power Management > Uncheck Allow this device to wake the computer from sleep.
