Hello, I am contacting you because I noticed that on my laptop running Windows 10, the Start menu opens automatically after a certain amount of time.
That is to say, it becomes quite annoying over time, because whether we are working or watching a movie, the Start menu just pops up without us asking for it!
I would like to know if this phenomenon is normal and if it is possible to disable it?
Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 48.0.2564.103

Hello,
try this:
When you are on your session do:
- Ctrl + ALT + Delete
From there, keep the SHIFT key pressed until the end of the process. (SHIFT is the up arrow key on the bottom left of the keyboard)
- Click on the power button at the bottom right of the screen, click on "Restart"
you are now on a blue page
release the SHIFT button
click on choose an option
troubleshoot
advanced options
restart (at the bottom of the window)
choose F4 (safe mode)
let Windows load
Once on the desktop, press the Windows key + R, then type msconfig in the box. Press Enter.
- Go to the Services tab, then sort by the "Service" column (by clicking on the column header)
- Uncheck the box "Windows Error Reporting Service", click OK, restart.
or refresh Windows without losing documents:
click on the start button (at the bottom left in the taskbar)
then click on settings (it's at the bottom)
then click on the tab: update and security
click on recovery in the left menu
then click on get started (below reset this PC)
then click on keep my files
then continue the process.
