Hello!
I accidentally uninstalled my ethernet driver, so I reinstalled it, but now the PC doesn't detect the cable... However, the Wi-Fi is still working.
I've tried everything: resetting the PC, uninstalling the driver, etc. I don't know what to do anymore. If you have any ideas, please let me know!
Here are 2 screenshots of my components and driver ( https://imgur.com/a/Zkb0q ), the ethernet driver is this one: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.
As you can see, I have no errors...
I'm waiting for your replies, hoping for a solution :)
Thanks!

ok,
you just need to check if your Ethernet port works well by booting from a live CD or live USB Linux, like Ubuntu for instance, without installing it, unless you prefer otherwise, just to test.
If it works well under Ubuntu, you will need to consider reinstalling Windows, since you don't have a restore point.

Hello,
Thanks to the people who advised me.
I finally managed to solve my problem. I struggled with it for a month over a cable issue... Indeed, I just unplugged and replugged all the cables of my PC and it was good.

Good evening,
Go to your device manager and give me the identification number of your network card.
By the way, let me know if you have a yellow triangle in front.

Oh okay :-)
Have you uninstalled the driver and run the automatic search in Windows 10 for your card?
If there are no results, try the detection on this site and see if it finds another driver for you:

You gave me your device manager.
But I’m asking you this:
And while you're at it right-click on Ethernet connection and right-click properties __ configure __ power management __ uncheck allow this computer to turn off this device.

Yes, that's it, https://imgur.com/ntUvmE7
And I unchecked "allow this PC to turn off this device," but still nothing.

It doesn't help us...
I don't really know anymore...
Try this latest driver from Realtek for Windows 10:
Win10 Auto Installation Program (SharedID:1152921504607039569 SId:1152921504626192484)

Unzip and run AutoInst.

Weird ...
If you go to Network and Internet --- Network connections
What does it say about Ethernet?
Do you remember what exactly you uninstalled?

It tells me this: https://imgur.com/XBo7Geh
I went to "uninstall programs" and deleted the driver, here it is: https://imgur.com/O8oLBBo

And as mentioned in my question, I've already done a Windows reset.

As for a live USB Ubuntu, we discussed that in a recent conversation, I'll look for it.
Just to make sure we understand ;-)
it starts here and the rest....
