Hello!

I accidentally uninstalled my ethernet driver, so I reinstalled it, but now the PC doesn't detect the cable... However, the Wi-Fi is still working.

I've tried everything: resetting the PC, uninstalling the driver, etc. I don't know what to do anymore. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

Here are 2 screenshots of my components and driver ( https://imgur.com/a/Zkb0q ), the ethernet driver is this one: Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller.
As you can see, I have no errors...

I'm waiting for your replies, hoping for a solution :)
Thanks!

ok,
you just need to check if your Ethernet port works well by booting from a live CD or live USB Linux, like Ubuntu for instance, without installing it, unless you prefer otherwise, just to test.
If it works well under Ubuntu, you will need to consider reinstalling Windows, since you don't have a restore point.

So, I don't know much about PCs, so to get started like you told me, I imagine it's in the BIOS but I would need some guidance.

And as mentioned in my question, I've already done a Windows reset.

What do you mean by a Windows reset then?
As for a live USB Ubuntu, we discussed that in a recent conversation, I'll look for it.

Describe what you did to "reset your PC," because there are several methods.
Just to make sure we understand ;-)
