Hello,
I need your help.
My cousin brought me her Emachines EL1200 PC because it doesn't start up or crashes during startup once every two times.
However, I would like to access the BIOS to boot from the CD so that I can completely format it and reinstall it. But it's impossible.
At startup, it says F2 or F10. But neither works. When I press the keys, there's a little sound but nothing more, the PC starts up normally.
I also tried Escape, Delete, AltGr+F2, AltGr+F10, AltGr+Escape, AltGr+Delete, Ctrl+Alt+F2, Ctrl+Alt+F10, Ctrl+Alt+Escape, ................ Anyway, I think I’ve tried everything.
So, I'm reaching out to you in case there’s a little magician among you.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Have a good day and happy holidays.

        Hello
Thank you for your responses but unfortunately it didn't work...
I changed to a wired keyboard... tried all the USB ports...
F2, F9, F10 or Tab+Delete... none of it works.. I still hear the little sound when I press the keys but that's all..
Is there a way to program it so that the PC automatically restarts from the CD??
        Thank you

Normally, the PC should start up on its own if it's a Windows CD.

At startup, do you see anything written?
