Hello everyone!
I often come here to read good advice on computer issues, but today I need help...
Indeed, my Asus laptop is stuck on the Asus startup page ("Asus in search of incredible" precisely, with a loading circle of dots that keeps turning...) or sometimes it shows a black screen with the mouse cursor.... This happened all of a sudden, with no reason two days ago.
The operating system is Windows 10, which is natively installed on it.
I don’t download or visit any suspicious sites... This laptop is only used for taking notes for my classes, to write my thesis, and to access my faculty's online platform to register or download important data provided by them. Nothing more, nothing less.
I have tried restarting and shutting it down of course, the famous ctrl+alt+delete, the fn key alone, the key with the Windows logo, the delete key alone... But nothing works...
Nothing allows me to easily remove the battery, as there is no straightforward access to do so...
If a kind soul could help me, as I absolutely don’t know what to do, and I can’t afford to call in a technician to repair it. I am a medical student, and all of my data is on this laptop... I make a complete backup of my data every 48 hours on an external hard drive, which was also stolen from me yesterday... It’s just my luck...! ^^
My only solution is to get my laptop working again. I will back up my data to a cloud from now on... That seems more sensible...
Finally, if I can’t retrieve my data or get my laptop to work again, I will be totally in trouble...
I thank in advance the person who will come to my aid... :)

I managed to completely reset my PC while keeping my personal files (with a lot of difficulty...)
You need to press the POWER button + VOLUME+ at the same time. You have to know this because it's not indicated anywhere... Not even on their official website, unless I missed this detail, but I don't think so.
This concerns Asus netbook PCs.
However, I now have the following error:
AsusTPLoader.exe
The application failed to start correctly (0xc0000022)
Click OK to close the application.
It keeps restarting from the Asus startup page... I can't use my PC at all, nor recover my important files, still stuck inside...
There's already been progress, since before my PC was completely unresponsive, but it's still not quite there ;)
Thanks to anyone passing by for their help, because right now I'm completely stuck...
