Laptop + shower gel

Hello, the other day I put my laptop in my suitcase but my shower gel spilled on it!! I wanted to know if it’s possible to repair it, if it’s worth the cost (it’s quite recent, less than a year…) because I don’t have enough money to buy a new one.

    It all depends on where the shampoo gel infiltrated and above all how far it went... :s

    Well, he did go inside anyway, I did a bit of cleaning, but the small light doesn’t come on when I plug it into the outlet... it doesn’t light up either... makes sense. So do you think it’s repairable?

    If it went through the ventilation grilles I think it’s screwed unless you’re very lucky.

    Repairable, maybe yes depending on what’s touched (if it’s the power supply for example) but afterward I doubt it a lot.

    If it went through the keyboard there might be a chance that the latter acted as a barrier and managed to save the motherboard.

    Honestly we can’t know if it’s repairable if it hasn’t been disassembled, but generally… there’s little hope… sorry :/
