Hello, I have an Xbox 360 console with which I was provided an Xbox 360 controller at the beginning. From the first use, no problem, it connects, I’m happy, etc. After 3 months of use, I go to St. Martin to buy another Xbox 360 controller. I come back home, I try to connect it and I press the button in the middle. The light flashes so I think it must no longer work, then I try with the controller that comes with the Xbox when bought and it works, so I think it’s the St. Martin controller that must have a problem (I’m frustrated). Yesterday, I bought another controller but this time it was at Micromania, so I think it’s reliable. I get home and try to connect it, and just like the other controller from St. Martin, the light flashes but it doesn’t connect. Now I’m desperate; if anyone could enlighten me, I accept all advice given my situation. If anyone knows what the problem is, thank you for letting me know.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

It's me again, so I'm really a klutz. I've been trying to connect my controllers for half an hour and I finally succeeded. Actually, I followed the procedure but there’s a small detail not to be overlooked.

1. Turn on the console
2. Turn on the controller
3. Press the white detection button on the console
4. Press the small white detection button on the controller but hold it down for a long time. And then it works!!! It's pretty simple, but I think that was the problem. We tend to press it briefly like the console's button, but you need to hold it down for about 3 seconds.

I hope you have the same problem.

Best regards.
