Bonjour ,

Hello, if you don't want any cables at all, I suggest using powerline adapters.

OK splitter with one input (to the satellite dish) and 6 outputs, 5 of which are wired. So you have 5 sockets distributed throughout the house. Unfortunately, not in the right place.

From your drawing, it appears that, unfortunately, the electrical box is not on the same wall as where you want to install the socket. You will need to run a cable from the free socket on the splitter to the new socket you are going to install.
As for the path to take... it's up to you to decide.

Hello

Yes, the antenna sockets are located in the bedrooms and only one in the living room.

So, to run a cable, should I take the output at the bottom right of the splitter where the plastic cap is?

I also have ADSL with not much bandwidth, I plugged in the Amazon Fire Stick and it works great, except now I have to pay for Molotov.

Hello and thank you,

my box is in another room too.

And it's actually the wall-mounted TV antenna output that I would like to be able to capture remotely.

How many powerline adapters would I need for that to work? And the wall-mounted antenna socket wouldn't be used?

Hello,

Here is a TNT antenna signal transmitter via Powerline: ==>

Hello Baladur

I bought the Neli transmitter and unfortunately it doesn't work.

The issue is that the first transmitter connected to the wall antenna still needs to be directly connected to a television.

Hello,

It should be noted that, having lived myself in the past in a rural area where the ADSL speed was low (in other words, insufficient to run both the internet and the TV), I complained so much that the operator (Orange in this case) eventually replaced my TV decoder with a satellite decoder, which resolved the issue.

But obviously, the acquisition of the satellite dish and installation at my own expense, plus issues with permission if the housing is in a co-ownership.

Hello

I am indeed in a rural area with a low connection, with Orange as well, with a satellite dish.

The electricity and telephone lines are above ground but the Internet works more or less correctly.

However, my request mainly concerns the relocation of the TV.

Thank you

So when you talk about the aerial connection, it's the one that's connected to the satellite dish, not the antenna?

Moving the TV is either going through a gadget like mentioned, but often it works only when it has time, or moving the aerial input with an extension cord, running along a skirting board, it can stay discreet as long as you don't have to cross the room in both directions to go to the opposite wall.

The concern is that the first device connected to the wall antenna must still be directly connected to a television.

Uh!!! What is this story?
It is indeed possible to connect a television to the base that is connected to the antenna, but it is not at all mandatory.

What you are showing is the login procedure for Nomade n1 alone.

I hope you ordered a duo model.

Yes, the model I bought includes the base + the nomad and is indeed called Duo n1

On the Neli.fr site, I can't find the same one.

Look for neli n1 notice.

Okay, I will take a look. And where should I place the orange TV box?

Actually, does the mobile Neli work without a TV box?

The Orange box is connected to an HDMI socket on the television, the Nomade to another one.

Hello

I'm retesting by following the instructions from the Neli website.

The second portable box has only one HDMI output and the orange box does too.

I tried to contact Neli's customer service in vain.

I have a message from Neli on the screen

Check the connection of your base to the antenna socket

Press ok to restart

Is the base properly connected to the antenna socket?

If so, press OK on Neli's remote control.

Sou1etc Posted messages 97 Status Member 1 > baladur13 Posted messages 47742 Registration date   Status Moderator Last intervention

Yes, the base is connected to the wall socket with the cord provided by Neli.

When I click OK, the error message comes back.

Is there a working DTT antenna in the house?

If you connect the television directly, does it work?

Yes, I have an orange box, the TV through ADSL, and a satellite dish.

I received a response from Neli saying that I need to be equipped with a rooftop antenna … I thought rooftop antennas no longer received TV signals?

When we talk about TNT, we are talking about digital terrestrial television (antenna), not satellite television (dish).

For a dish, you need a decoder. Do you have one?

It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.

0
Sou1etc Posted messages 97 Status Member 1

Well yes, I have a basic decoder provided by Orange.

Sou1etc Posted messages 97 Status Member 1

Now the customer service is asking me if I can install a bowtie antenna...

The Orange decoder is not a satellite decoder but an internet TV decoder.

Which customer service is asking this question?

Good evening,

Yes, I have encountered this; since Orange provides television via satellite because it has poor or no ADSL connection, a special model of satellite decoder is provided, which works without a rooftop antenna, I did not have this item.

I randomly called 3 antenna installers and they all say that a second antenna cable needs to be brought either from the satellite dish or from the wall antenna socket. When I ask if there is any equipment for this, they all say that it does not exist.

A direct cable will always be much better than going through the Neli system.

If you install a dipole antenna, it would be preferable to run the cable to the right place.

Return the Neli system to AMAZON.

Do you have the solution for the link between the livebox and boxtv?

Hello

Can I put a rabbit ear antenna next to my satellite dish which is on a stand outside the house?

I do not have a connection between the Livebox and the TV box.

I had bought powerline adapters to improve the Wi-Fi in the house.

The antenna installer is the best person to answer this question.

Hello

I finally think I’m going to return the Neli equipment because I want to avoid changing the antenna.

I’m currently looking into bringing an extension cord to the wall where I want to move my TV.

I noticed that there are 6 antenna cables at the circuit breaker. Can I run an extension from these cables? The wall I'm interested in is actually not far from this circuit breaker.

Thanks

I don’t understand much anymore.
Do you have a rooftop antenna connected to this socket or not?
You say you have a satellite dish... but only talk about an Orange TV box?
Is it an Orange TV box with a built-in satellite decoder?
Was this TV box connected to the antenna socket that you want to move and everything was working?

You talk about 6 TV cables at the circuit breaker... Can you post a picture of this splitter?
Where is it located in relation to the wall where you would like to install your television?

0
Sou1etc Posted messages 97 Status Member 1

No, outside I have a satellite dish.

I also have an Orange TV box; I think this unit has a built-in satellite.

Yes, that's right; the TV box works well when it's plugged directly into the only wall antenna socket in my living room.

I will take a photo of the splitter.

So, the wall where I want to place the TV leads to a hall where the circuit breaker is located.

The wall where I want to place the TV leads to a hallway where the circuit breaker is located.

This doesn't give me much information about the layout and the distance between the electrical box and the place where you want a TV outlet. A drawing would give a clearer idea.

If you have a smart TV, this Fire Stick isn't very useful, is it?

Good evening, no it won't be useful, it's precisely to connect a TV that isn't connected.
