Hello,
I am reaching out to you because I have a little issue. I just moved into a new apartment for 6 months. Yesterday, when I tried to turn on the TV, I realized there was no TV antenna socket... so I went and bought a portable antenna... failure! It still doesn't work, and I can't detect any TV channels... I noticed there was an RJ45 socket on the wall behind the TV. I don't have a box or internet connection at the moment.
I'm not very good in this area, and I don't know what I can do to get the TV working. I suppose I will have to subscribe to a box to hope to receive the TV. My questions are:
Should I call France Télécom to open an internet line? If so, what is the average wait time before I can use it?
Should I also subscribe to an internet box?
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello
On some new installations, TV (terrestrial) can be distributed through the RJ45 sockets!!
In the panel, there should be a patch panel, and we "should be able" to distribute what we want through these outlets: telephone, IT, and TV

With VDI panels, the traditional antenna can be distributed through RJ45 sockets
this is clearly stated in http://www.pedagogie.ac-aix-marseille.fr/jcms/c_176635/fr/la-vdi-dans-lhabitat-residentiel/#niveaux
the question remains what has been done in the house??? -
