Hello, I got a new BENQ flat screen and when I connect it, a signal appears saying "input signal out of range" and then it goes into standby. I can't use my old cables because they are not detachable from my old screen. My computer is from 2000, is it compatible? I tried it on another computer, and it turned on right away. Thank you for your help.

Your problem is either due to your resolution being too high for your new screen or your refresh rate.
Reinstall your old screen, reduce the resolution to 1024x768 and set the refresh rate to 60Hz (in the advanced display properties), then put your new screen back and gradually increase the settings.
Otherwise, if you know the resolution of your new screen and its refresh rate at that resolution, you can adjust those settings in Windows, and it should work perfectly!

Hello, I have the same issue. I replaced 1920x1080 with 1440x900 in "Settings" "Display". The connection with the dual screen still doesn’t work, and I still get the message "Input Signal out of Range. Change Settings to 1440x900 - 60Hz." So I go back to Settings + Display. The change is well recognized. Except that when I go to Advanced display settings, I still have 1920x1080 - 60Hz. And I don’t know how to modify the Advanced display settings. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks
