Wall antenna socket issue

Hello,

I bought an antenna cable for my TV, which I connected to my TV with an adapter, and plugged directly into the wall socket. I had an unstable image on some channels, but it seemed to work. I then switched to HDMI, and when I went back to the TV, no channels were working as if the antenna was not functioning at all.
Since then, I opened the socket and took a look; with the cable, some channels work while others do not.
Do you know where the problem might come from? I am attaching a photo of the socket so you can see if the issue is there.

Good evening, are the connectors of your cable the right size? Are they not swimming in the sockets, causing poor contact?
Your wall socket looks fine, but be careful that no "hair" from the braid touches the core of the coax, and make sure that this braid is well compressed when you screw it back on.

At the level of the plug that goes into the wall socket, no problem, it fits well, but for the one that connects to the TV, we need to use an adapter and it might indeed be a bit loose.

So regarding the core, it's good, it just needs to touch the bottom while being properly screwed in, right? I adjusted it better earlier, but I didn't pay much attention to the "hairs." The aluminum tip of the braid shouldn't be in contact with anything? And what do you mean by "well compressed" for the braid? (By braid, are you referring to the bundle of small metal wires?)

Sorry, I really don't know much about this.

" and he may indeed be a bit cowardly"
That's where the problem might be....
For the connector that goes into the TV, you need a male plug of 9.5 that is blue (new standard) whereas before it was 9 mm (green)
If you have a male plug of 9 mm that fits into a female 9.5, it will "swim" and the contact won't be good.
