Philips Fransat decoder stuck on channel 0
Solved
Hello,
I have an issue with my Philips Fransat decoder: it starts up correctly, but I only receive channel 0 (test channel) and I cannot access other channels, whether by pressing the buttons on the remote control or directly on the decoder.
I checked if the card is still valid and it seems to be fine (PC6), I also performed a channel search and the decoder found about 200 channels. I tried navigating through the configuration menus, but nothing works.
If anyone has a solution to my problem, that would be great.
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
It's not easy, but try this:
Turn on the decoder, remove the card, turn off and unplug the decoder,
-gently rub the chip on a piece of clothing,
-turn the decoder back on, let it fully restart,
-reinsert the card, perform a factory reset, turn it off,
-then unplug for 1 to 2 minutes, then plug it back in and reinstall the decoder

I wanted to do a factory reset, however, the PIN code required is unknown to me. I tried 0000 / 1234 / 1111, but it didn't work (a professional installed the decoder several years ago). Is there a way to force a factory reset without the code?
