Fransat decoder stuck

Hello,

Since yesterday's updates, my Simply SD fransat decoder from Essentiel B is stuck! On the receiver's screen, it says "LOAD" with a green dot and a red dot.
I can't do anything since then! And no one seems to know what to do, not even at Boulanger.

Who can help me and tell me what to do to get my TV back!

Thanks in advance,

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 9.0

Hello,
There's no need to bring your decoder back to the store, it's not a warranty issue as it's independent of Aston (the manufacturer of the Essentiel B Simply SD) - it's the Fransat group that's responsible.
The process to get the equipment working again is very simple and involves 5 steps:

1) unplug the antenna and power supply
2) wait 30 seconds. plug in ONLY the power supply.
3) turn on the screen and the decoder.
4) press OK 6 7 8 7 using your remote control
5) your decoder will restart by itself - reconnect the antenna and follow the instructions to reinstall your decoder.

Edit: I've done about forty of these in-store this week - in rare cases, the channels from the France Télévision group may not reinstall properly, in which case rescan your channels.

At step 4, sometimes you can't perform the operation, in which case press the Esc key beforehand.

Hello, same problem! I turn on the TV and the decoder and after a few minutes it starts updating and freezes, I can’t turn it off without unplugging it and when I turn it back on! I tried your trick but I couldn’t do it, I’m really not good at this but I can’t unplug the antenna since the satellite cable goes directly to the decoder! What can I do without calling a repairman who will charge me a fortune just for the trip? PS my decoder is an essentialb transat via Eutelsat. Thank you and please keep in mind that I really don’t know much about this so make it simple for someone like me!!!

Hello, unscrew the connector connected to the decoder and which is connected to the cable coming from the satellite dish.
