Hello everyone,
I’ve seen several messages on this topic, but I don’t feel like it was exactly the same problem. I have an ASUS Zenbook laptop that I bought almost 3 years ago, and since last night it won’t turn on. The battery light is a steady green and the light next to it is blinking, which means it’s in sleep mode. I was hoping it would discharge overnight, but no, it’s still exactly the same with the lights. I held down the power button for 30 seconds, 1-2 up to 5 minutes and there was no reaction. I tried it a couple of times with the charger but nothing happened either (I even tried two chargers), but since my goal is to hope it discharges... (the battery has been pretty good until now, remaining inactive like this I imagine it will take a long time before it discharges..)
My dad says he can check it on Monday with the IT guy at his work to remove the battery (but the laptop is quite thin so I don’t think it will be so easy) and I’m very afraid that everything is messed up because I’m an architecture student and I absolutely needed to do backups, so I’m really scared of losing everything if we start tinkering with it...
If anyone has encountered this problem and has a solution, I thank you very much in advance.
Have a good day,
Lucie

The model is UX310U NotebookPC (I'm reading what's written below on the label)
I'm also attaching a few photos
Thank you for your response

In my view, this is just my opinion, if it is "physically" stuck, we will probably need to attempt to remove the internal battery.
Do you see any potential screws securing the lower cover when you flip the PC over?
I found you a video that shows how to access the internal battery; for someone experienced, it's a procedure that takes about fifteen minutes.
It's HERE.
See you!
