Windows 10, sleep mode exit issue Solved

Question

Hello,  I put my PC into hibernation, and upon waking it up, the loading screen with the logo appears without any loading indication but remains stuck on it indefinitely. Sometimes the screen also stays black because no video output is detected. If I force the computer to shut down with the power button, it then starts normally.  I have attempted the following solutions: - Update all my drivers - Complete all Windows updates - In the control panel, I tried to run a troubleshooter using the "Power Troubleshooter" button.  For your information, I have a desktop computer from the brand HP.  Do you have any idea how to resolve my issue, please?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,  Temporarily disable it using the command  powercfg -h off  Then restart two or three times, and then re-enable it with "on". The hiberfil.sys file will have been deleted and then recreated. You will see if it was causing the issue, as sometimes it can be corrupted.

Hello,  Disable the fast startup of Windows Tutorial here or there Make sure to restart the PC well  You have an HP PC Start button go down to the letter H Check if you have HP Support Assistant. If present check if you have updates  Power management of your Wireless network card right-click on the start button device manager network adapter right-click on your network card (Wireless) properties power management and check that the first 2 boxes are checked if you see them.  Device manager keyboard Allow the keyboard to wake the PC Power Management tab > Check the box “Allow this device to wake the computer”  there are issues with the intel drivers Device manager It’s the Intel Management Engine driver Rollback to the previous version of the driver and check if you have no exclamation point.  Allow wake timers ---> control panel ---> Power options ---> Change advanced power settings you will get an advanced settings window! ---> click sleep then ---> Allow wake timers ---> Click on Enable to access a new choice ..... Choose “Disable” and OK or another choice.  Hoping that the fast startup solution helps you.  See you later

I found it after hours of struggling!!  A few weeks ago, I manually set the maximum memory to 16 GB, but I don't know what happened because Windows saved 0 bytes, yes yes a maximum memory of zero bytes, normal (probably a bug in the window since I'm sure I confirmed it at 16, which is not exactly reassuring...). Looking back, I'm really lucky that it didn't completely prevent the standard boot of Windows.  For your information, this data can be modified by doing:  -Command Prompt -Type msconfig -Startup tab => Advanced options -Uncheck maximum memory -Click OK on both windows
