      Unless it dates from Methuselah (and is Bluetooth-free) the limiting factor is not the phone, which is also attested to see the TV but the TV itself, and therefore the model is irrelevant.

      In general, Bluetooth from a phone to the TV is quite limiting compared to other connections (Cast Wifi, HDMI via adapter) because most often it only allows streaming audio content.

      In this regard, it is likely that the TV will only recognize certain audio peripherals via Bluetooth (for example a headset) and treat them as such, but they are then output devices, not input devices, see for example:
