Hello
here is my problem
I sent a tracked letter yesterday at the post office in my town, I wanted to check this morning on the post office website but there is no trace of my letter
is it normal or should I be worried?
thank you

I think we should be worried. I have important documents; I've never received them! I also have a tracked letter that is lingering, I don't know where... Untraceable... The first one has been missing for a month and a half; the second one for already 10 days. REAL SCAM
kartman
Not only are they no longer following anything, but the prices of "so-called tracked" letters increased by 33% between January 2020 and January 2021, while salaries and pensions stagnate.... How much longer are we going to endure such excesses???
Registered letter, important for administrative purposes, posted on 30/09/2020 and to date 07/10/2020, the letter is wandering from sorting center to sorting center, a message in the tracking details in the meantime: "an error occurred in the delivery...", then following my complaint, a terse response from La Poste by email "it appears that your mail has arrived at the distribution site", but since then, the letter has gone to yet another site, another department... My patience has its limits.
There is really a responsibility of the company, a lack of seriousness.

If the tracked letter is not scanned at the post office initially, there will be no tracking...
My experience:
When I put the tracked letter directly in La Poste's mailbox, the tracking number always remained unknown, so I paid for nothing!
Then I thought I would have the tracking label scanned at the post office counter. And there, I have a record of the dispatch every time, but not always of the delivery.
Today, I ask at the counter to have my letter scanned, but the scan does not work on my label. I'm complaining because I know that if it's not scanned at the start, I won't have the tracking that I've paid for. I'm told that the scan doesn't work on 80% of the labels!!! Unacceptable! And especially I'm told it will be scanned at the drop-off. I don't believe it at all (from experience) and I make it clear at the counter.
The scan doesn't work at the counter but would work at the drop-off? They really think we're idiots!

Hello, I received confirmation from my mailman.
The tracking only shows the name. Because it is scanned upon arrival only.
We can no longer track our mail and follow its progress. I find it dishonest on the part of the postal service to change the service, charging us full price. While it does not correspond to our initial request.

Hello;
Coming from the post office, I think that's quite normal!
It all depends on what time you posted that letter, and it all depends on when it was picked up... and we're on a non-working day anyway... so...
Just two weeks ago, I sent a tracked Colissimo package to the Czech Republic and there was no trace of it for 3 days. I called the post office at 3631 and was told that the tracking for this Colissimo might not have been recorded... but that the package had indeed been sent... and indeed, 3 days later, I checked online and the package had arrived at its destination.
Unless I'm mistaken, you should have the missing item on Monday 11/02
A+ for your upcoming comments: But if none >> Subject resolved
Best regards

Aging well: It's preferring the time that remains over the time that passes
So that's what I think! The post office hasn't taken care of this mail yet... You can call 3631 but not today because they only answer from Monday to Friday... and you will be informed (The post office)
Best regards

Hello,
La Poste is in a logic of separating its services...to the point of absurdity. Traditional counters (public access) no longer scan items; this is now strictly the responsibility of the mail service, so you need to find a "mail" counter, where they will be scanned. This scanning is very important because if it is not done and you inquire about your tracking, you will be told "this item does not exist"...and for scanned items, they will not be available for consultation indefinitely, so you should not wait too long to ensure their drop-off and their journey, if all goes well.

I am the manager of the company ............, which is engaged in online sales .................................
As such, I use your Colissimo and Lettre Suivie products which I affix postage for on the poste.fr website
Client Pro No: ..........................
I drop off at the post offices of:
.............................................................
On ../../.. I shipped an envelope, which I affixed postage for as Lettre Suivie No ................... and dropped off at the post office of ...........................
The next day, when I checked, my tracking was not yet available, and it is still not available today,
the letter seems to be lost.
What surprised me is that the departure scan was not indicated either.
When I went to the post office in ......., I was told that for the past two years (while until now my tracked shipments were scanned at the time of drop-off at the post office), they no longer scan the tracked letters at drop-off, only upon arrival, and indeed customers have complained
and I was also told that if I’m not happy, I can take my business elsewhere.
This poses two problems for me:
First, a technical problem which means that without a departure scan, I have no proof that I have actually shipped the item, and the primary consequence of this is that eBay and Amazon, with whom I work, consider that I have not shipped, and consequently reimburse the customer.
In parentheses, I therefore lose the item, the shipping cost, and the platforms impose penalties and negative ratings on me.
The second consequence is that the claim is impossible since when I call the post office service, I am told that the shipment does not exist and I have no claim number to provide to the postal mediator if needed.
You understand that I am at the mercy of a loss or theft within your services
absolutely without any recourse, since this shipment has never existed.
The second problem is a legal one. Indeed, the product “Lettre suivie” is sold on your site as: I quote “A postal franking service that allows you to send a letter, an important document, or a small package and track its journey to the destination.”
So what I pay for when buying a Lettre Suivie is the tracking of each step of its delivery and not, as I was told, proof of its delivery.
Currently, the mail that I should be able to track from beginning to end travels obscurely and within random timeframes, when they are not simply lost...
I am therefore currently paying for a product that is not conforming to its description.
This is confirmed by the DGCCRF.
Today, I am reduced to demanding that my letters be scanned in my presence, as if it were frankly unreasonable to ask for this service that I have paid for.
I therefore ask you through this letter, on one hand, to do everything possible to locate the Lettre Suivie No ….................. which exists, and on the other hand, to inform me of the procedure to follow so that I can go to a post office and receive the service that has been paid for, all without me being considered a nuisance. "Since apparently this is a word that can be used"

I sent a phone that has a contract on Monday morning (now it's Wednesday evening) and there's no trace of it, unknown number. This is annoying because I don't know if I should terminate the contract or not. The postal service should inform you that this tracking service is no longer tracked.

Registered letters have not been scanned at the time of posting for quite some time now, since early 2020.
So the recipient (the client in my case) has no information on the progress of their shipment.
We only have information when the mail has arrived.
It's a registered letter without tracking, but sold as a registered letter.

I posted a tracked letter 2 days ago before the mail pickup, and according to the tracking, it’s still at the post office where I left it! ... it's actually stressful, there’s no information on its progress, so it feels like the letter is lost, the opposite effect of what was expected (to be reassured).
It's a scandal that not only has THE POST increased its TRACKED LETTERS but also that they are no longer scanned either when sent or on arrival. I think we should file a complaint with the GENDARMERIE AND THE CONSUMER SERVICE; THE POST has a contract with its clients and cannot act like this. I believe we can seek damages and initiate a procedure with THE CONSUMER SERVICE for breach of contract!!!!!!!!
The cost of tracked letters has EXPLODED; for a 200g letter, I was paying €2 at the beginning of the year, the last one I sent (November 2020) cost me €2.39, and I learned that the same letter would cost €2.64 as of January 1, 2021, which is an INCREASE OF 33% in 1 year. When you also see that tracking is no longer being done, you think: This time THEY ARE CRAZY AT THE POST OFFICE; Who will be able to put an end to such waste?
Hello, I ordered 2 items from SHEIN 3 days ago and when I enter the Mondial Relay tracking number, surprise, it’s someone else’s package that was delivered on October 7, 2020. I can’t track my package and don’t know where it is or when it will arrive. Can someone advise me?
I have the same problem as you. I sent a letter from the post office in my village; I dropped it off on June 5, 2021. It was for my son, and there is no trace of this letter on the post office website. Knowing that the woman at the post office was aware of the contents of my letter, I don't know what to do.
