Hello, I am currently working on my report. I noticed that at the beginning of each page, I can write text up to the middle of the page, and then the following text automatically goes to the next line. Do you have a solution?
I am sending you an image so that you can fully understand my problem.
Thank you in advance.

Hello tumankisial,
1) Select all the relevant paragraphs.
2) Right-click on the selection and choose the option "Paragraph..."
3) In the "Paragraph" window, decrease the number in
the Right Indent box. For example: 1.5 cm instead of 5 cm.
Then continue your text as you usually do:
a) Place yourself on the last paragraph and if necessary, add text
to finish it. Then press the < Enter > key.
b) You will see that your new paragraph will inherit all the same
settings as the previous one, including the right indent.
---------------------------------------
Notes:
1) To modify the right indent of a single paragraph, there is no need to select: just place the text cursor in the paragraph,
anywhere (at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end).
2) On the ribbon, Home tab, Paragraph group, click on
the small box located just to the right of this word (the launcher):
this will open the "Paragraph" window.
---------------------------------------
If your problem is resolved, please mark it as "Resolved":
link located at the top of the page, just under the title. Thank you.
Best regards. 😊

1) Go to https://www.cjoint.com/I did not have the same reading as albkan at all. I rather think that it's your right margin stop that is misplaced in the rule ...
2) Click on [Browse] to select your file (maximum 8192 Ko)
3) Scroll down to click on the blue button [Create Cjoint link]
4) After a few seconds, the second page will appear, with the link in bold; select it and click "Copy"
5) Return to your discussion on CCM, and in your reply message, click "Paste".

Hello Raymond,
In that case, yes: you had the same reading as I did, since the right indent is defined precisely by the right paragraph indentation.
And if you move that same indent (to the left or to the right), it consequently changes the value of the right indentation. Note:
You can easily check this in the “Paragraph” window.
----------------------------------------------
On the other hand, here’s why the image was enough for me:
At first, I thought the problem was due to too large a right margin in the document; but then I saw that the text noted in the upper right corner of the document is close to the right edge of the page! So this indicates that it’s not the right margin of the document that is at fault, but the right paragraph indentation. Unless this text is in a text box, but I don’t think so.
Best regards. ????

Hello m@rina,
To respond to you, here is my message #4
which is my response to Raymond PENTIER.
---------------------------------------------------------
On another note, I couldn't help Lefennec48 because he has Word on Mac.
I think that his text highlighted in pink with brackets is a form area. But maybe I'm wrong? Since I know you are very skilled, perhaps you could help him better than I can? If you would kindly take a look, and if you succeed, I thank you in advance.
Message #9 from Lefennec48.
Best regards. 😊

Without its file, we can only make conjectures...
What we do know is that the file was created with Libre Office or Open Office, and saved in doc format (of Word).
We also know that the area you mentioned is in the header of the document (or section).
"since the right margin tab is defined precisely by the right paragraph indent": Be careful not to confuse these two elements... That's why I wanted to differentiate myself from your interpretation.
All we have left is to wait to receive the file...

I know Libre Office and Open Office by name only: I do not use them.

Reminder: on the horizontal ruler, the right margin marker is the small triangle
gray pointing up, which is located at the bottom right.
---------------------------------------------------------
In Word, on the horizontal ruler, when I change the position of the
right margin marker (to the left or right), it always changes the
right indent parameter of the paragraph.
Conversely, when I change the right indent of the paragraph in the "Paragraph" dialog box,
it always changes the position of the
right margin marker.
That is why, for me, the right margin marker and the right indent
of the paragraph are intimately linked.
---------------------------------------------------------
Also, when you advise me to be careful not to confuse these
two elements, I am really very skeptical! And I did mention the right margin marker, not a right tab marker!
Because the right tab marker does not change the paragraph indent at all; and if it's indeed that one you're talking about, you're absolutely right!
---------------------------------------------------------
But for the initial exercise "Alignment Problem" from tumankisial,
I still believe that the solution is to decrease the right indent
of the paragraph.
If it's not that, I agree with m@rina and you that it's better
to wait to receive the file...
