Camera interference

Hello,

I have already published this problem and you won't believe it, for this I am publishing an extract from Tf1’s 8 p.m. news of Friday, August 7, 2026, where they talk about Wi-Fi jamming of cameras.

I would like to prevent this jamming and be able to see who enters my studio; I think it is the cleaning lady and every time she enters she challenges me by unplugging the Ethernet cable, unfortunately the camera has no Wi‑Fi and cuts the modem's Wi‑Fi.

Do you know of any device similar to counteract this jamming.

    Hi,

    If it's just the camera you're interested in,

    there are plenty of cameras designed to operate in the wild and self-sufficient, with possibly a live connection to a mobile network, so with a SIM card.

    And there you go, there you go, voilà ....
    But alas, how annoying line spacing is!!

     I would like to avoid this interference 
     Do you know of any device similar to counteract this interference.

    What the law says :

    Article L33-3-1 of the Code of Posts and Electronic Communications prohibits the installation, possession and use of any device intended to render inoperative electronic communications devices of all types, both for transmission and reception. Non-compliance with this prohibition is punishable by 6 months' imprisonment and a fine of €30,000 (Article L39-1 of the Code of Posts and Electronic Communications).

    Finally, in France today, the use of a jammer is punishable by a fine of €450. And yes, it is formally illegal, and since 2012 it is forbidden to possess one. Nowadays, only security forces, prisons and venues are authorized to equip themselves to avoid problematic situations related to these devices.

      Hello,

      Unplugging a network cable or a modem, if that is what is being done, is not interference.

      Dismissing an employee over this boss is not clear either; except in very restrictive circumstances, video surveillance of employees at the workplace, even if it is only an indirect effect, is prohibited.

      For a few months now she hasn’t been working, saying she has to take care of her mother abroad due to Alzheimer’s, but she’s still there and can open any lock because I’ve changed my lock several times, even those with a card to make a double.

      She’s the one causing the interference, not me, on my camera.

        This person doesn’t work for you anymore, but they would still try, depending on the type of lock, to obtain a fingerprint to spend money having a key reproduced for the pleasure of coming to unplug your camera?

        Note also that before the camera in question is unplugged it is supposed to do its job: transmit or record the image of the author, but I also suppose that the person in question steals the recording disk if there is one or deletes the images already transmitted online?

    if the camera doesn’t have wifi then why do you want to protect yourself from wifi interference?
