Left and right text alignment

Solved

Hello,

I would like to know how to align text on the same line both to the left and to the right, knowing that the justify function does not work.

Let me explain with an example: typically when making a CV, you place the company name or job title aligned to the left, and the dates on the same line but aligned to the right.
However, unless using tabs or spaces to try to align them manually, how do you program it in Word so that if you add text to the line, it doesn't shift everything?

I hope I have been clear, let me know if you need more information.

Thank you in advance,

Owrell

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 23.0.1271.97

Hello,

see here: https://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/astuces/716.htm

If you want to align words on the same line to the left and right, you can certainly find a solution using tabs or a table. But there’s a much simpler way by using non-breaking spaces.
Type your first group of words, giving a non-breaking space between the words with the combination Shift + Ctrl + Space. After a regular space, then type the second group of words, also with non-breaking spaces between the words.
Then select this line and assign it a justified paragraph format. Position yourself at the end of the line and then press Shift + Enter. That's it, your two groups of words are now on the left and right.
