Hello,
I'm explaining my problem.
I came back from college and when I turned on the computer, I heard sounds coming from it, a bit like when you force the computer to shut down, a little "cling."
I found this very strange but didn't look too much into it.
I calmly typed some texts on Open Office for about an hour and then
when I tried to save my work, a "crash" message appeared on the screen with white lines on a blue background saying "Your PC has encountered a problem and will restart..." then the BIOS opens. I looked on forums on how to exit it because the BIOS kept reopening, so I had to force shutdown. When I turned it back on, everything was fine until I wanted to delete a file, and then an error message appeared saying "Invalid MS-DOS function." I can't delete, rename, or move files.
I don't know if the BIOS issue is related.
Could you help me?

Hello,
I fear that the "clings" might be clicks coming from the hard drive's read head, and that it could be failing.
If you have access to the PC and can connect an external USB drive, it is urgent to back up the files that are important to you and for which you do not have a copy.
