Hello,
How can I access MS-DOS commands at startup? I want to access these commands in order to format my hard drive (format c:/s). I tried the F8 key, but in the menu that appears, there is no way to access the commands; there are only options for restoration. I'm on XP. Is there another way besides F8?
Thank you.

Hello,
Accessing MS DOS varies depending on your motherboard model, but generally try:
the backspace key
the delete key
well F8 in your case just forget it^^
Escape
these are the keys most commonly used by manufacturers
there you go, I hope this helps you
PS: When your computer starts up, the key to access MS DOS is usually marked at the bottom of the screen below your motherboard model.
The operating system doesn’t change anything.
