Samsung TV changing source by itself

Hello,
my Samsung TV changes source by itself suddenly, it switches to the VCR or game console.

We changed the remote control batteries but it keeps happening.

Has this happened to anyone else?

What the guy said is true, but what you need to understand first is to open the hood, look to the left all the way down there are two connectors; one manages the signals coming from the remote and the other manages the manual controls fixed on the TV. It's the latter that you need to unplug, leave it loose, and then close it.

Me too, my TV switches source from HDMI1 to HDMI2 every time I connect my Orange box decoder. It even plays the sound but the rest is like when I press the menu button on my TV remote. So, I took off the cover of my TV, disconnected a small white plug, and I took the opportunity to clean the dust with a vacuum cleaner. I reassembled the cover and since then everything works perfectly.

OK, but is the cover for the TV or the box? And where is it located?

Great, and thank you for your response. I had the same issue with the source changing on its own and not responding to the remote. It was very quick and simple to fix with your instructions. The longest part was unscrewing the 14 screws of the TV cover. After that, I just unplugged the connector at the bottom right, put the cover back on, and it worked again. My 12-year-old Samsung TV started working immediately. Thank you very much!
