Good evening,
I've had the Samsung LE40A536 LCD television for 4 years, never had any problems until tonight when I'm facing quite an issue: my TV changes channels by itself, switching from terrestrial channels to stereo channels without me being able to control it with the remote, and at times it's impossible to turn it off, forcing me to unplug it from the wall. I need advice from anyone who may have encountered the same situation as me.

Good evening, I had the same issue with a Sony where the channel changed by itself. In fact, the problem came from the screen sensor designed to receive signals from the remote control. I put some black tape over it and no more issues! I’m using the buttons on the side instead; it’s less convenient but it works while I check the problem. In the end, I noticed it because when I was close to my TV there was no problem, but when I moved away, the issue occurred. There must be some signals that are short-circuiting the system.
