Origin Connection Issue

Hello, today I bought SimCity, but surprise, when I need to connect to Origin to continue the installation, it doesn't work.
My email and password work on EA's websites, so that's not the issue.
The error message is: You need to be online during your first connection, yet I am connected: I'm posting on the forum.
Is it the internet speed that isn't high enough?
Help me please!!!

    I solved my problem all by myself like a big kid! ;p
    So, first you need to perform all the available Windows updates, uninstall Origin, and restart your computer.
    When your computer has restarted, you need to install the latest version of Origin. Normally it works for most users.
    Still not working? Then go to:
    C:/Windows/System32/etc and rename your hosts file to host.odt
    There you go, all ready to play!
