Origin blocked in offline mode

Hello,
I am on Windows 8.1 and I downloaded Origin as part of the installation of The Sims 4. At first, everything went well: the Sims downloaded, I was able to play and even update the game.
But after this update, Origin no longer wanted to connect to the internet and remains stuck in offline mode. I have been trying to go online for months, without success!
Can you help me reconnect Origin to the server because I would like to apply another update that has just been released. Thank you in advance!

    • Open Origin,
    • Go to settings and uncheck offline mode
    • If you are behind a VPN, disable it.
    • Ensure you are not behind a proxy.


    If Xbox, check the server status: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status?xr=shellnav
    If PlayStation, check the server status: https://status.playstation.com/en-us/

    If that doesn't work:
    • Uninstall Origin
    • Re-download it.
    • Click on "forgot password", follow the procedure.
    • Reconnect with the new password.
