Instagram: unable to log into my account! Solved/Closed

Hello,
It’s been a day that I’ve been trying to log into my Instagram, but it says “sorry, there was a problem with your request.” What should I do to access my account, please?

I found the solution:

Open Instagram.com in a browser, log in manually, and go to settings. If your account is already linked to a Facebook account, unlink it.

Open a new tab and go to Facebook.com and create a new account just for Instagram with a fake name.

Go to another iPhone / Android, download Instagram, log in with the new username and password, and link your new Facebook account. Your Instagram is now connected to Facebook. Log out.

Return to your main phone on which you are trying to log in to Instagram. Delete and reinstall the Instagram app. Log in with Facebook. There will be no more error!

Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Try to connect again.

Solution #2:

Change the password. https://www.instagram.com/accounts/password/reset/?hl=fr
Try to connect again.

Solution #3:

Use another browser.
Try to connect again.

First, do solution #1.

If it fails, do solution #2.
If solution #2 fails, do solution #3.

If you have the same issue (Instagram app not working on iPhone) and that hasn't worked, it's probably a technical issue with Instagram.

So you'll have to wait for it to be resolved (assuming that's what it is).

I can assure you that this problem is unacceptable because after doing some research, it turns out that Instagram decides to delete your account without even notifying you, my dear friends.

Yes, it’s enough for someone to report you to Instagram for your content or something else... (e.g.: jealous of your account), Instagram doesn’t even bother to check your account but DELETES your account if you have few followers (-50k); if you have more, they apparently pay more attention, outrageous.

Same here! I absolutely tried everything I could and nothing worked. I had to reset the phone for it to work. Fortunately, I had backed up just my contacts and calendar on iCloud, as those were the only things that resynced afterward. But Apple offered me another solution that I didn't have time to test: retrieve the file from the corrupted backup in Library/Mobile Sync...etc, copy it to another Mac, and try to restore from the other Mac in case the problem comes from the computer and not from the backup itself.

I also had the same problem, not being able to see people online on Instagram. I first updated the app, then the phone... it didn’t help... I deleted and then reinstalled the app, nothing... I turned my phone off and on... still nothing, the online statuses weren't showing anymore. And now, I log out to log back in later, impossible! It gives me a message saying: Sorry, there was a problem with your request.
I don’t understand, and it’s becoming frustrating. I hope I can reconnect and see who is online or when they were online...

I just had the same problem. I logged out and since then, I haven't been able to log back into my account even though I reset my passwords, etc.

I hope to have a solution quickly as well because I'm waiting for important messages, and it's really annoying for an application of this scale.

Yes, my sister-in-law told me to click on "forgot password"... even then I struggled... I finally saw a small phrase underneath that says "you're unable to set your password," I clicked, and finally changed my password... I go back to log into my account, Instagram acknowledges the password change, and then it gives me the same message again! I’ve sent messages to Instagram, but nothing.
