Hello everyone, I have a new computer and my old Epson SX 205 printer for which I no longer have the installation CD.
I have therefore downloaded the driver from the Epson website, but during installation, the following message appears: "The installation program cannot copy the file E_DPPE06.EXE.
Check that the path below is correct or change it and insert "EPSON Stylus SX200 Series" into the specified drive.

Copying files from:

c:\windows\system32\drvstore\e_df1efe_8b57c9dd291a40e802752e30f17e6a5a0f60bd2b\.\WINVISTA_XP_2K

I called technical support and no one knows what to do... if anyone has a solution...
Thanks in advance!

    The file may be corrupted or your driver version does not match the OS installed on your PC. Try downloading it again and see.

    Thank you, as for the file, Epson sent it to me. As for the OS, it is indeed a 32-bit XP.
    I fought all day long; I am in total despair...

    Hello;

    You write "I have a new PC....." and you say your operating system is Windows XP-32 bits >> Are you sure about that because new PC and Windows XP seem a bit strange unless it's a second-hand machine >> Make sure to check it!!

    After 48 hours of hard work, the problem is solved!!!! I had to delete all previously downloaded and installed files before just downloading the driver and installing it while unplugging the printer cord... I couldn't do it because some Epson software files were hidden in the system registry...
    Thank you for your help!

      Hello;
      Thank you for responding, and I'm glad everything is working again
      As you mentioned, it was indeed necessary to uninstall the programs on disk and perform a new installation
      Issue resolved then
      Best regards
