Hello,
I would like to transfer my antivirus "Kaspersky Internet Security 2012" from one computer to another, knowing that I purchased the antivirus for one single computer.
How can I do this please? Is it even possible?

First of all, make sure you have your activation code in the format (XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) on hand.

Next, to transfer your license from the old computer to the new one, simply uninstall your Kaspersky product from the old computer before installing and activating it with your code on the new one.

If the old system is down or won't start, you can directly install your Kaspersky product on the new computer.

Hello again,

Do you have your activation key?
(XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX)

If so, simply completely uninstall the application from your old computer, then download a 30-day trial version on the new computer (here: https://www.kaspersky.fr/downloads) and activate it with your code.

P.S.: If it's the 2012 version, I recommend upgrading to the 2013 version, which is more effective.

ok
I am in the process of uninstalling, it says:

"You can completely remove the app or keep some data. The saved items can be used later by the installation assistant."

Then I have the choice between 2 options (below):

-Completely remove the app
OR
-Save the app's items.
information on activation

MY QUESTION IS WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I have 107 days left.
In the worst-case scenario, it might be better to stick with the 2012 version and finish the remaining 107 days.

If the activation key from 2012 doesn't work on the 2013 version, it's better to stick with 2012 until the end of your license before switching to 2013.

Keep me updated on the progress of your antivirus transfer here and I will try to help you if you run into any problem.

It's PERFECT!
After installing Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 (trial version), I entered the activation key for the 2012 version and everything is working great
The only downside is that I only have 107 days left, but otherwise EVERYTHING IS FINE!
Thanks for the help.

Yes, I have my key
to upgrade to version 2013. Do I need to buy version 2013 or is it enough to just enter the key for version 2012?

Hello again, every year they release a new version (from 2011 to 2012 | from 2012 to 2013 ... etc)
And every year the license expires (365 days) so it needs to be repaid.

You just need to switch to the next year's version.

However, I’m not sure if a 2012 key will work on a 2013 version (it doesn’t hurt to try), how many days of license do you have left on the 2012 version?

Très bien, je vais commencer le téléchargement de Kaspersky 2013 sur le nouvel ordinateur.
