Hello,
I've been suspecting my brother of monopolizing the connection for a while now because it was impossible for me to watch a video on YouTube at 720p. Yesterday, when he turned off his PC, I tried 1080p like I used to and it worked perfectly. I conclude that my brother has found a way to appropriate a large percentage of the bandwidth, but I don't know how.
I checked the router settings and his machine address remains fixed at 192.168.1.1. Is this address "priority"?
Secondly, in the NAT/PAT settings, he deleted my rules for Minecraft and set up rules for "Teredo." I looked it up online, and it's a means of simulating an IPv6.
Otherwise, maybe some sneaky software is responsible for his trickery?
I would like to point out that when his PC is on, I download at less than 100kb/s, but when I'm alone, I’m at 1.1MB/s. Theoretically, if sharing was good, we should both be at 550kb/s, which would certainly be enough.
Anyway, if you have any ideas, thank you in advance :)
Best regards.

Hello, I've never responded to any forums before, but today I'm doing it because I'm sure I have the solution...
► Open cmd.exe (as administrator)
► Type: netsh interface tcp show global
► if it says "Auto-tuning level: None" then it means this is not the solution... but if it says restricted instead of none or normal, it means your brother is monopolizing the connection...
► Type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal
► it displays OK.
the connection is then set to normal and no priorities are given...
to monopolize it in turn, type: netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=restricted
here's the link to a video explaining it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IVU1HrZk7U&t=97s
there you go! hoping to have helped you... otherwise, send me an email and I will reply: ***@***

Hello, I did all the steps to monopolize the connection for myself ;)
I didn't understand the last step and its impact on other devices
Hoping for a response!
Have a nice day
