Epson XP-205 Wi-Fi Printer Connection

Hello,

I just received this printer. I was able to install it via USB on one PC and I want to set it up for Wi-Fi on the laptop. Impossible...... argh.....

Of course, the Epson installation CD isn't very helpful....

My goal: just to be able to use this all-in-one printer with both PCs, without going through the Freebox (the printer is not connected to it).

So, thank you in advance for your help, I'm starting to despair!

I did it! I successfully installed the Wi-Fi on my Epson XP-205 printer. You need to go to the Epson website to download a small installation program. To do this, click on the following URL:

https://download.epson-europe.com

Before running the program, make sure the USB cable is unplugged. Additionally, if the Wi-Fi light is not completely off, turn off the printer and turn it back on.
Launch the program. It takes a little while. Be patient and answer the questions that will be asked. And then, miracle, it works!

Hello, theoretically you need to have a MAC address for your printer, then you have to enter this MAC address into your router; without going through your router, you won't be able to install it via Wi-Fi.
