Hello,

I have an EPSON Stylus SX218 printer and I need to print an important document from an email. However, the Magenta cartridge is empty, and I would like to print in black and white... But it’s impossible! Even after going into the properties and selecting "Grayscale," it puts the document in the queue and tells me to replace the cartridge! What is the point of having independent ink cartridges if everything gets blocked as soon as one is empty?? I don’t see the point and I’m starting to regret my purchase --'
Thanks for your help if you know a procedure that works ;)

Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

    Hello
You need to change the printer, preferably to a laser one, and you won't have this problem anymore.

    Hello,
Hmm... Well, I don't want to change my printer right now ^^ Is there no other solution than replacing the empty cartridge, even though it has no use for printing in black and white? Can't the black cartridge work on its own? Therefore, there's no point in having separate cartridges if they aren't independent... It really smells like a scam, thanks Epson ^^
    Thanks nonetheless for the response...
Does anyone else have a solution, pleaaaase?! =)
