Missing photo library

Hello,
After cleaning with CCleaner, all the photos in my photo library disappeared. Is there a way to recover my pictures?
I should note that the cleaning did not involve the photos, and the recycling bin was unfortunately emptied.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Check if your photo library is still present in the folder: Finder then Pictures and see if there is a file named: Photos Library.photoslibrary on your Mac and if it is there, right-click and open with the Photos folder even if it is greyed out.
Perform a restoration via Time Machine, if of course it is enabled.
There are also data recovery software options.
CCleaner may have moved some files but it is known to have caused a lot of damage on macOS because it deletes system files that it should not touch normally.

Hello,
I did find the file Photos Library.photoslibrary. But the images did not correspond to my Mac photo library but rather to my iPhone's. I didn't quite understand.
Not having Time Machine activated, I chose to recreate a new photo library, which saved me some space on the Mac. Fortunately, all my photos are still backed up on an external drive.
As for CCleaner, if it could cause damage, it's wiser not to use it.
Have a good day.
