Hello everyone,

I spent a good part of the afternoon trying to install my EPSON STYLUS SX218. I've used it for 10 years, but I changed my PC without changing the operating system.

When I plug it in, Windows 7 searches for drivers, but they are not found, which was somewhat expected.

I'm of course looking on the forum...

Searching for drivers from the supplier: Check

https://www.epson.eu/support/?lng=en-GB&data=FCFfEfoyEiExWaGXKWzy7fH9cptX1k9cJ68ofVZlhwgU003D&tc=6

Finding my model... Uh, it depends on the sites, but I eventually found one for the 218 (on the official site, the most up-to-date, the product doesn’t seem to exist)...

Unfortunately, when launching it, "Cannot install the driver on your Windows system".

I tried again with older drivers, same, drivers from the SX210 (you never know, right?), same result.

I tried again with Epson's automatic update tool, but it doesn't even recognize the product when I plug it in.

It’s all the more frustrating since it was working rather well, I found the same one at a flea market, bought it, but there’s no installation CD in the box..

Why doesn’t it work on my HP EliteBook, while it did on my old Medion from 12 years ago?

Thank you for your attention.
