Hello everyone, let me explain my problem.
I bought the SX218 printer, and it worked well until I changed the cartridges. When I changed the 4 cartridges (which were Epson brand), I found an error code W11 displayed for the 2 cartridges CYAN (C) T0712 and MAGENTA (M) T0713..
I have tried various solutions suggested on forums, without success, and I have obviously cleaned the cartridges and tray, as well as the print head, and then I also tested a restart protocol......
Has anyone found a solution since then???? Thank you in advance

Good evening,
There are many reasons that could explain why the cartridges (all of them, including the brand ones) are not recognized.
I dealt with an SX205 that had been "stored" upside down. The ink from the cartridges had leaked onto the contacts and into the control electronics....
The repair was impossible, and the printer ended up in the trash.
And that is just a small example.
Often, the reading of the chips is hindered by ink deposits, and I'm not talking about the "compatible" cartridges that tear off the reading pins like in this photo: http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/q738/puces2nimes/forum_compatibles_tueuses_2_imprimantes_zps6f5cbe53.png
Or perhaps the chips are simply different versions and are interfering with each other....
You could try WICreset in diagnostic mode to see if the chips are being read correctly.
WICreset can be downloaded at this address: https://www.2manuals.com/
Best regards.
