Hello,
I am following up on the first puzzle I posted yesterday.
Thanks again to Vaucluse and the other participants for their response.
I am now facing another problem.
I would like to obtain in the attached file located at
http://www.cijoint.fr/cjlink.php?file=cj201011/cij4ZLTW0k.xls
in the "top 5 Prices" tab, the automatic display of the 5 best prices offered (which will correspond automatically to the "top 5 names").
I tried to duplicate Vaucluse's solution but without success and I don't see how to do it.
Does anyone have the solution???
A few explanations about the attached file:
- 1st tab: shows for each reference the prices of each company. When there is no price, it means they did not quote.
- 2nd tab: same table as the previous tab where a rank function has been created for each reference and company
- 3rd tab: displays the names of the top 5 suppliers based on the previous tab. This was done thanks to Vaucluse
- 4th tab: what I would like to have.
Once again, thank you for your help.
Best regards,
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.12

Vaucluse,
Thank you so much.
You just saved me several days of tedious work, during which mistakes would surely have been made.
Thanks again,
Best regards, -
Hello nicoatlante
let's continue since we're at it
here below is a proposal that still needs to be checked to see if it corresponds to what you want, I'm not guaranteeing it!
http://www.cijoint.fr/cjlink.php?file=cj201011/cijVkqocTD.xls
The principle is to find the price corresponding to the name of the client listed earlier in the Top 5 name
if that doesn't work, come back with explanations about what doesn't fit.
Best regards

Let's ask ourselves if we are not alone in understanding what we are explaining?
