My computer does not detect my Blackberry.

Hello,

When I plug my Blackberry Curve 8900 into my computer, nothing happens, the little lightning bolt indicating that the battery is charging appears and disappears less than a second later, yet everything is new (about a week old) :s
It worked before, except that the desktop manager only detected it when it felt like it, and nothing ever appeared in the workstation.

Anyway, I don't understand anything :/

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the software. Does it work if you connect it to another PC?

There is probably a more recent version of the software:

I have the same problem except that I accidentally checked the box to not display this message again that appeared on the BlackBerry, and since I checked that box, the computer can no longer find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I still don't have a solution :(

I have the solution! Go to options, then memory, and check yes for: Automatically enable mass storage mode once connected, and there you go :D

My BlackBerry Curve 8520 is not detected by my computer / the USB port works, everything functions, but it is not recognized!

Humm.. I’m experiencing exactly the same issue. My Blackberry Curve is no longer detected by my computer, even though it was just four months ago. It’s really frustrating --'. SFR didn’t solve my problem, so I looked at several different sources. The connection issue might be related to USB recognition (even though my ports are working perfectly), you need to type INFCACHE.1. on Google and follow the instructions. Not really for me, thanks -.- I’m only 15 and not very good at this kind of thing!

"Go to options then memory and check yes for: Automatically enable mass storage mode when connected and there you go :D"

--> This doesn’t work in some cases, but for those whose problem comes from there,
      choose the "prompt" option

Kisses! I hope technology becomes less of a hassle!

Yes yes, I installed everything, but I don't know, it doesn't detect it anymore.

So apparently the problem comes from my USB ports, which all eventually stopped working. I restarted the computer, it worked, but the problem came back after a few hours. The desktop manager manages to detect it, but still nothing in the file explorer...

Do your USB ports work properly with other devices?

If your USB ports have a yellow question mark (in the device manager), it's probably a driver issue.

    Hello,
Have you installed the software provided with the mobile to check?
