My computer does not detect my blackberry 9000

Hello,
I have a Blackberry Bold from SFR and I would like to put music on it, so I downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager with the disc provided in the purchase box, the software to transfer multimedia from Blackberry to the computer and vice versa..
During the first connection, it worked, the computer detected my Blackberry, but now it no longer detects it, meaning it does not appear in My Computer or in the application, where it says at the bottom left: "Connected terminal (PIN code): none. However, when I connect it, there is a sound as if the computer detects it
and my Blackberry is not detected on any computer!!
Please help me! Thank you!!!
Configuration: Blackberry Bold

SLT A TOUS, the solution to the problem is very simple, follow this path: MENU > OPTIONS > MEMORY > AUTOMATICALLY ENABLE MASS STORAGE MODE ONCE CONNECTED > PROMPT and the problem is solved, it's that simple.

Important: when you connect your BB to the PC, it asks you the question
do you want to connect to your mass storage? first check "do not ask me this question again" then click "yes" imperatively.

Hello, these are the mysteries of Windows... I have the same issue with the LG Viewty. Everything is installed correctly
and sometimes the synchronization doesn’t happen even though it is recognized as plugged in on both sides. ^^
    If anyone has an idea?

But the thing is, I put an SD memory card in my BlackBerry Curve, and when I connect it, I can only transfer the photos that are on the phone and not those that are solely on the SD card. Can someone please help me!

Even with the latest version of desktop 5.01, the problem persists. So let's find another solution to this issue. Thanks to Raa.

djiblaboudja, did you find the solution? I have the same problem with a BB9700; after going back from customer service, the phone is no longer detected. How did you manage?

    You simply need to....

Run the desktop manager as an administrator!
    To do this:
    - right-click on the icon
    - compatibility: check "run as administrator"!

    There you go!

Do not use the software that is in the box, but download the latest version
on the other hand, do a hard reset, remove the battery and restart your BB
make sure you are not using it in mass storage mode, meaning if it asks you the question "do you want to use in "mass storage", say no never.

I have the same problem with my bold 9000, unable to connect either on my desktop or my laptop: here is the message
    connected terminal (pin code): None

aren't there any settings to enter
I've tried everything, turning off the BB, turning off the computer, restarting either one first, launching desktop manager before or after.
    nothing
    reinstalling desktop, same
    what to do?

You may need to insert a micro SD card into your phone and then connect it.
This has happened to me before.
Alternatively, there might be a specific way to plug it in; let me explain: first, connect your USB cable to your phone and then to the computer, or first connect it to the computer and then to the phone. This has also happened to me before.

Hello, I have the same problem with the Bold 9700 I bought yesterday. I have Vista on my laptop and just like you, when I plug it in, it makes a noise and on the BB it asks me for mass storage or not, but there is always the same message on Desktop Manager "check that the device is connected." PLEASE HELP ME. It's 4 am and I'm going to break my phone before taking a shotgun and going on a rampage at the SFR store that sold me this phone!!!!!!!

      Several points to check.
      New version BB 5.O.1
turn off the BB, consider removing the battery, and reset it
turn off and restart the computer (do a reset)
replace the USB cable with an original mini USB cable
and by the way, do not allow the BB to go into mass storage mode, otherwise it will work like a USB key

      it should work in principle
      good luck

    same...

the worst part is that in the PDF they say: "go to the "advanced options" tab. which doesn’t exist anywhere!

    pop account easily unconfigurable.....

=> don’t get a blackberry, now we understand why they are cheaper. iPhones are much easier.

I also had the same problem, you need to take it apart completely, remove the battery and the SIM card, then put everything back together, wait for it to reboot and reset, and charge it at the same time.

Same problems with my Blackberry Curve 8520. I found something else, but it might not work. We do:
MENU > OPTIONS > MEMORY > ENCRYPTION MODE (DEVICE) > ENABLE AUTO MASS STORAGE ONCE CONNECTED (YES).
Except that then it asks me if I want to format my memory card. But if I format it, I will lose my 150 songs! Please help me.
