Lens error 0x0111 Pentax Optio E70L

Good evening,

I have a small problem with my camera. When I switch it on, the camera lens stays inside and won’t open; it’s stuck.

Do you know how to resolve this issue? or do you have any help you can offer because I really need to take some photos and I can’t afford to buy another one right now.

      Hello, you have to blow it properly and put some penetrating oil on the zoom, then wipe it well. Mine stayed outside, I tapped on it gently and it worked.

    same problem for me solved with a hammer and no patience, demolished it, it’s giving me more trouble; I bought a Sony Cybershot, no more headaches, thanks Sony lollll

    Hello everyone.
    Yesterday it happened to me.
    I put it away in its case and tapped very gently on the table. A small bump that put everything back in order since then it works. Be careful not to hit too hard either, I'm not crazy! I was tapping gently against the table!
