    I have a Pentax 50L and I can't delete the photos from my memory card!
    The device indicates that the card is locked!!

      It's really simple, you just had to think of it! I went to see the seller, he took the card out of my camera and on the side he pushed the little slider, and the card was unlocked! There you go, maybe you had the same problem, well I hope so, talk to you later!

    Visible vertical color stripes at times
    -> it's difficult to know what's really going on. Sometimes, you can see lines when photographing while aiming at a lamp or the sun. By shifting your aim, they disappear

    Try taking pictures by selecting a different shooting mode (auto mode, sports mode, for example).
    Check the manual to see if there is a way to reset the camera settings.

    If it persists, consult a photography vendor who can tell you if it's a settings issue or a sensor issue.

    When you have scratches on the screen, do they appear in the photos?
    Because on this type of device, there are plenty of small wires connecting the screen to the motherboard, not a flex cable, so it is possible that some of these wires are in poor condition. Keep us updated on the progress of your tests.

    I have a problem when I view my photos, some are marked "image error". I can still see them by viewing them in thumbnail on the LCD screen. It is impossible to open them on PC
    Can someone help me solve this problem

    Polo, your memory card is probably too old or you have exposed it too close to an electromagnetic device.
    Yes, for those who don't know, don't leave your data on memory cards for too long because even under good
    operating conditions, they are not eternal.
    Moreover, they really don't like strong magnetic sources too close.

    I think your optio was near a magnetic source (speaker, booster, magnet...) and it is fried like mine
    the sensor is misaligned and it's overexposed or has stripes...

    I had no recourse because he made sure to wait until the end of the warranty and I dealt with it by buying a simple Axxion for €50 which is worth much more than the Pentax except that the screen is smaller

    Your memory card seems to be showing signs of weakness. Or maybe you’re not formatting it when you use it.
    Photos that have errors can sometimes be recovered with software on a PC.

    Hello,
    I have a problem with my Pentax Optio 50L.
    When I take pictures at night, there are no issues, but during the day with high brightness, horizontal lines appear both in preview and in JPG on my computer.
    I have tried different shooting modes, formatted the SD card, etc.
    Could someone let me know if this might be due to a setting I forgot to change or if the sensor is starting to fail?

    I have a Pentax Optio E50 with brightness issues. When I photograph indoors, everything is fine and I can clearly see the image on the screen during playback. However, when I'm outdoors, I can't see anything on the screen after taking the photo; the view is overwhelmed by a glare. I have tried adjusting the brightness but nothing works. Do you have any tips to help solve this problem?

        I tried to adjust or cheat, but in those cases, horizontal or vertical lines appear.
        However, I don't encounter any issues when I switch to video; the image is fine.

        Thank you for helping me if you have been able to fix your overexposure problem.
